Statement of No New Business
Effective January 1, 2023

The law office of Segel Law, LLC (“Segel Law”) is no longer accepting new cases. Segel Law will continue to represent all existing clients to the conclusion of their cases pending in either the Erie County Court of Common Pleas or the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania (federal court).

So, if I am currently representing you in a matter, I intend to conclude your representation before closing my office. I will continue to handle your case as I have always done. My contact information remains:

Elliot J. Segel, Esq.
818 State Street
Erie, PA 16501

It has been my policy to keep all file materials from a client’s case for a period of seven (7) years following the closing of the client’s case, unless the client directs me to return his/her file materials. I will continue to do this. Upon the passing of the seven year period, the client’s file will be destroyed in a secure fashion. If this is not acceptable, you must let me know before the seven year storage period for your case ends.

It has been my great pleasure and honor to serve my clients over the past many years. Thank you for allowing me to do so.

Sincerely,
Elliot J. Segel
